Kombucha is an “ancient fermented tea beverage” and it has an acid twang and it’s these acids - acetic, glucuronic and gluconic - that make kombucha so important to our gut health.
Once fermented and cultured, the beverage contains a host of beneficial bacteria, yeasts, organic acids, antioxidants and B vitamins imparted to it by its mother culture, often referred to as a SCOBY (symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast).
FIona's kombucha is small batch brewed over 21 days using certified organic ingredients and there are no additives or preservatives used in the making.
Ingredients - filtered water, green tea, unrefined sugar, live culture.
